Short Sale Madness In Florida
Okay, here’s a pop quiz that I’m sure will leave you shaking your head. What happens when you have a State wherein arguably you have the highest amount of homeowners in foreclosure and simultaneously have a huge amount of Realtors who either don’t know how, or simply don’t want to work on short sales because they are too hard.
Answer: A whole lot of homeowners who end up losing their homes to foreclosure because the “professionals” who are charged with helping them find short sales to be too much fuss and bother. Think I’m lying? I only wish that I was.
We have taught thousands of real estate agents how to do short sales yet tens of thousands more simply will not take the time to learn how to correctly execute a short sale. It’s no wonder that in South Florida over 60% of homes sold are now being sold without the “assistance” of an agent. Imagine all those homeowners forced to put those signs in their yards on their own…how pitiful!
